With using up-rated valve springs and high lift cams as well as being driven under more arduous sports driving conditions the additional stress placed on the original OEM cam belt are considerable. These additional stresses lead to among other things increased stretch degradation resulting in inaccurate valve timing as well as reduced durability. A broken timing belt can result in bent valves, and in extreme cases, complete engine damage.
Engine performance is improved by eliminating belt stretch which occurs at high rpms, resulting in more consistent cam timing and power output. Whether your engine is stock or heavily modified, the TODA High Power Timing Belt will protect your engine from belt failure.

Note: The JDM Civic Type-R B16B engine uses the same belt as a B18C engine due to having the same deck height as a B18C block.
