This Kit was designed for hardcore drag racers running extreme boost levels.
If you are looking for maximum clamping force, tensile, and yield strength regardless of cost, you've found it as these are 37-40% stronger than standard off the shelf head stud kits!
These studs are manufactured by ARP using their Custom Age 625 Plus material that is much stronger than typical 8740 chromoly. This allows a 37-40% increase in clamp load while also being immune to stress corrosion and hydrogen embrittlement, and does not require any special handling. They also offer ~17% higher yield strength than L19 which means they can take a higher initial torque load and higher cyclical loading before stretching.
They are also provisioned with a hex broach on the top of the stud for ease of installation and enabling you to install them with the cylinder head on the car if necessary. Oversized nuts and washers are included which provide superior load distribution.
